In spring 2007, I Beverley Smith (Hazarah) a professional Leeds based Arabic dance performer and teacher formed an all women group of dancers from both my Horsforth and Harrogate classes, known as EGYPTIA. We are a group of dancers available for performances. Our mission is to illustrate that Arabic dance is an enjoyable, experience for women of all ages, shapes and sizes and great family entertainment as well as great fun. Egyptia may sometimes perform in a small team of 2 or 3, at other times a larger group may be more suitable for the occasion or particular performance.
